Anton Prokopovich
Anton Prokopovich has been working as a potter since 1950. He represents
Ivenets Potter’s School. He ran the gamut of potter’s work from a
simple artisan to a professional factory porter. In 1971 he received the
Order of the Red Banner of Labor for his fruitful work at Ivenets
artistic factory. He participated in various exhibitions, like the
exhibition of popular arts in Warsaw and the fair at VDNKh in Moscow
where he received a silver medal. Moreover, he took part in numerous
festivals devoted to pottery and his overall pottery experience is about
50 years. Since 2000 Anton Prokopovich has been working as a potter in
the museum complex of Dudutki. |
