Children’s Playground

The museum complex of Dudutki is an excellent place for family vacations.

On the 27th of July, 2013 the visitors of Dudutki followed the opening ceremony of a unique children’s playground. In the course of the ceremony the service of consecration was held and, in accordance with an ancient piratical tradition, a bottle of champagne was smashed against a shipboard. The gaming ships were constructed according to the original project of the members of the British Belarus children`s freedom trust charity fund that has been functioning in Belarus for several years already. It renders assistance to children form care centres. In particular, it builds interactive playgrounds.

Our understanding of a playground is usually connected with the image of a broken sandpit and a strident iron swing. However, we want to invite you to become a real sailor! The playground unites several temporally landed ships. Dudutki ship was lovingly called “The Swallow” by its creators. It is unlikely that it will use it to put out to an open sea one day. However, the pirates who owned it earlier have left there some of their loot. Children have a unique opportunity to find lost coins!
