Denis GromDenis was born in Krupitsa village in the family of V. Grom, musician,
composer and the head of “Krupitskie muzyki” folk band. In 1995 he
finished Glinka Music Scholl specializing in violin and in 2000 he
graduated from Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts with a
degree in art pottery and watercolour. Since 1997 Denis has been a
member of Belarusian craftsmen’s union of popular arts. He is a teacher
of the School of Arts of Krupitsa and a laureate of many contests. Since
2004 Denis Grom has been working as a potter in the museum complex of
Dudutki. During excursions he gives visitors an opportunity to
participate in the modeling of a clay tin whistle that a tourist gets as
a present afterwards. |
